I must succeed by any means necessary and you are there to help me – Tinubu says as he threatens to sack underperforming Ministers
President Bola Tinubu emphasized his determination to fulfill the commitments he made to the Nigerian people, asserting that any Minister who fails to execute and fulfill these promises will be requested to depart from his administration.
He made these statements during the commencement of a three-day retreat titled “Delivering on the Renewed Hope Agenda,” which was organized for ministers, presidential aides, permanent secretaries, and high-ranking government officials at the presidential villa in Abuja. Tinubu reiterated his acknowledgment of being fallible as a human, stating that when such errors are brought to his attention, he will promptly rectify them, while also expressing the sentiment that those present are there to assist him in achieving success.
“At the end of this retreat, you will sign a performance bond with me… I stand before you and I have claimed on several occasions and I am saying today again, as the president I can make a mistake, point it to me, I would resolve that conflict, that error. Perfection is of God almighty. But you are there to help me succeed and success I must achieve by all means necessary.” he said
”If you’re are performing, nothing to fear. If you’re not performing, we review and if you cannot perform, you leave us.”
that is good of you…..
