Wike: Tinubu should be careful of people like Gumi, he should be arrested and prosecuted – Primate Ayodele

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has urged President Bola Tinubu to request the apprehension of Islamic cleric Ahmed Gumi due to his remarks concerning Christians and the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike.

Gumi characterized Wike as a malevolent individual and expressed skepticism about entrusting Christians with the nation’s security. The Islamic scholar also advocated for Wike’s immediate removal as the FCT minister and called for a Muslim to assume the position.

In a statement released by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Ayodele cautioned Gumi to refrain from discussing Christians and allow Wike to carry out his responsibilities. He emphasized that the minister’s actions would have ramifications not only for Muslims but for everyone in the country.

The Cleric said, “Leave Wike alone and let him do his job, stop molesting Christians. If the minister doesn’t do the right thing, it’s not about Christianity.

‘’Tinubu should be careful of people like Gumi, he should be arrested and prosecuted.”
