Olasupo, a Nigerian man, reflected on the painful remarks his father directed at him, expressing that his father had conveyed a wish for his non-existence.

He shared this in response to a video featuring a young woman facing derogatory treatment from her parents after requesting an iPhone as a birthday gift.

“Omo bro yh I get your point but it’s just how we are as Africans….my dad once said he’d rather had terminated my preg rather than having me….bruh I cried my eyes out that day yh but I swear it don’t mean that man don’t love me or sumn….it’s not right yh but its normal here, he wrote.
