Mass burial: More revelations will come to light -Human Rights Lawyer, Adegboruwa says

Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa, a member of the Justice Doris Okuwobi-led Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry on Restitution for Victims of SARS Related Abuses and other matters, has expressed that the leaked Lagos State Government memo regarding the mass burial of 103 victims from the October 2020 EndSARS protest is just one of many surprises to come.

During an interview on Channels Television on July 29, he emphasized that it is widely known in Nigeria that there were fatalities on the night of October 20, 2020, when soldiers stormed the Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos, and youths were peacefully protesting against police brutality and extrajudicial killings.

Adegboruwa further pointed out that denying the occurrence of deaths or bloodshed resulting from gunshots by members of the Nigerian Army is a disservice to the souls of the affected individuals. He believes that more revelations will come to light as long as the government does not come to terms with the reality of the events that transpired on October 20th, 2020.
