Fuel price hike: Nigerians buy the cheapest petrol in the world – Eniola Badmus
Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has strongly criticized those condemning President Bola Tinubu for the fuel subsidy removal. It was reported that the removal caused a significant increase in fuel prices, reaching N617 per liter.
However, during a recent conversation with popular media personality Daddy Freeze, Badmus insisted that Nigeria still offers the lowest fuel prices in the world. She expressed her belief that many of those criticizing the president lacks an understanding of the benefits of removing the petrol subsidy.
According to Badmus, these individuals who criticize from behind their keyboards have little knowledge of what the subsidy entails. She emphasized that it was only after the removal that they began to comprehend the government’s actions. Despite the controversy, she remains unwavering in her support for President Tinubu and considers him an unparalleled philanthropist.
“A lot of these keypad warriors do not even have an idea of what subsidy is. It was when they removed it that they knew what the government was doing. Even till now, I think we still buy the cheapest fuel in the world, she said
that is a big fat lies…….
