Peter Obi: Why do Nigerian politicians call for the annulment of a free & fair election after losing – Fani-Kayode
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Femi Fani-Kayode has questioned why politicians feel the need to call for the annulment of a free and fair election after losing. He said this reacting to calls by Peter Obi of Labour, who has since expressed that his mandate was stolen from him and he intends to retrieve it.
He said Peter Obi is following in the footsteps of Nnamdi Azikiwe, Arthur Nzeribe, by calling for the cancellation of a free and fair election.
”Why do Nigerian politicians call for the annulment of a free & fair election after losing & for the scrapping of the Electoral Commission that conducted it? Zik did so after Shagari’s 1979 election, Nzeribe did so after Abiola’s 1993 election & Obi did so after BAT’s 2023 election,” he said.
this last election is not free and fair……..
In my opinion, what he should do is to take the concern people to court and let the court do remaining for him
Politicians can’t be satisfied if not they won’t want to die on the political posts
They should just let us be in peace and not to cause any chaos in the country
We (citizens) also contribute to what is happening, if we don’t stop collecting money from them,I don’t think we will have Nigeria of our dreams
