2023 Presidency: My declaration will be based on the outcome of my consultations – Fayemi

Governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi has shared the reason why he is yet to officially declare his intention to run for President.

He said consultations are still on going and until then, he will not make his stance known.

The Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) spoke after a visit to Ondo State on Thursday.

He also met the Olowo of Owo, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye III; the Deji Of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi; the Osemawe of Ondo, Oba Victor Ademefun Kiladejo, and Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti

“Leadership is service, sacrifice and duty not an ambition”, he said

“I am not yet an aspirant. My next political move will be based on the outcome of the consultations that I am currently conducting with stakeholders across the country.

“May the Lord continue to be my guiding light”, the Ekiti helmsman added
