N35m recovered from robbers who raided Edo banks
Thirty-five million Naira has been recovered from the armed robbers that raided four banks in Uromi, headquarters of Esan North-East Local government Area of Edo State on Thursday, February 24.
It was reported that shortly after the robbers fled the scene, Ubiaja youths were able to block Ubiaja Road by the rail line, forcing the robbers to abandon the stolen money in their vehicles and flee in motorcycles.
According to the spokesperson of the state police command Bello Kotongs, the vehicles and cash have been recovered and taken to Ubiaja police station.
