Nigerian Man killed by Afghan roommate in Portugal
Nigerian man identified as Henry Onyekachi, 29 was on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, stabbed to death by his Afghan roommate in Lisbon, Portugal.
Onyekachi arrived Portugal some months ago as a refugee and was put in the same room with a 45-year-old Afghan refugee.
On the day he died, he had a clash with his roommate over house chores and the fact that the suspect was having a negative influence on the other refugees in the apartment.
The suspect got offended by Onyekachi’s confrontation as he reached for a knife and stabbed him in the back. He died from excessive loss of blood.
The Afghan has since been arrested
