If our people want me to run for president , I will not hesitate – Orji Kalu
Senate chief whip and former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu says he won’t hesitate to run for president if the party gives him the opportunity.
Kalu disclosed this to newsmen when he paid a private visit to former Military leaders, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida and Abdulsalami Abubakar, in Minna, on Monday, August 31.
“I am still in the senate, and I will seek for re-election into the senate but if our people want me to serve as president I will not hesitate. Zoning is not a constitutional matter in APC. Any person can contest any post in APC.” he said
Everything in life is try and error, you have freedom to contest and nobody will question you. Infact I like your courage, once your people support you, you have no qualms not to contest and I wish you success in your endeavors.
This is the normal talk of politicians. They will always attribute any deed of theirs to their people even when the so called ‘their people’ are not carried along and do not even know what they are doing.
Come to think of it, I thought that orji uzor kalu has a pending corruption case hanging on his neck. Have they trashed it out and what is his stand now
Nigeria and its political permutations is what I don’t really understand
You have freedom to contest if and only if your party nominate you and if not fly another party contest under it. At least I can see the love of your people in you when you go home. But the problem is that you politicians are not trustworthy, you may get there and turn back against your people. May God help you.
OK.. But the law states that anyone convicted by law is not supposed to contest for any political position, or was he not convicted by law?
I see Nigeria about to be sold and our treasury accounts emptied…
Ok,so far you are eligible, you can indicate interest for presidency.
Oga please respect ur self because nobody will vote for u
Your did we speak on behalf of you.
They don’t want you so remain where you are. What we want now is freedom and nothing else
The question is what happens to his case is Nigerian laws no longer working on those who violate?
All about Democratic
you need to hesitate ohh…because nobody will be for you
