Tinubu appears to be gunning for third term in office, one party state – VDM alleges
Content creator VeryDarkMan has suggested that President Bola Tinubu may be positioning for a third term beyond the 2027 elections.
In a video shared on Instagram, he pointed to the APC’s growing dominance across states and the National Assembly as a sign of power consolidation.
“With 31 governors… and most lawmakers aligned, it’s almost a guarantee,” he said, alleging that such control could influence election outcomes.
He argued that these developments indicate a possible move toward a one-party system
According to VeryDarkMan, he claimed, “I don’t think President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is preparing for the 2027 election. I think he is preparing for 2030 too.
“I don’t think this campaign is about 2027 anymore. Tinubu wants to rule for a third term.” He stated.
