First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu to Deliver Sermon at Lambeth Palace During UK Visit
Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, is scheduled to deliver a sermon at Lambeth Palace in London as part of activities marking President Bola Tinubu’s state visit to the United Kingdom.
The event will take place at the official residence of the Archbishop of Canterbury, highlighting the religious and diplomatic aspects of the visit. She is also expected to meet with representatives of the Church of England.
The visit, Nigeria’s first official state engagement with the UK in nearly four decades, aims to strengthen bilateral relations across political, economic and cultural areas.
President Tinubu and the First Lady arrived in London earlier this week, with engagements lined up including meetings with King Charles III, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and members of the Nigerian diaspora.
