Nollywood actress and filmmaker Etinosa Idemudia is advocating for legal consequences for individuals who level false accusations against others. End false allegations today! I recommend jail time for false accusers”
Her comments align with a broader conversation initiated by former Big Brother Naija housemate Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha. Tacha recently released a video emphasizing that rape is a grave matter that should never be trivialized or used for personal vendettas. She urged parents to take a more proactive role in the upbringing of their sons to prevent future abuse.
Tacha specifically called on mothers to be intentional and firm when teaching their children about boundaries. During her video address, she said, “Hold your male child by the neck,” while stressing the importance of raising a responsible generation. She also challenged traditional parenting methods, stating, “Forget how our mothers used to do it,” while advocating for better education on consent.
The reality star argued that dishonest claims create a dangerous environment for genuine survivors of sexual violence.
