Terrorists, their sympathisers will not be happy with Nigeria, US partnership – Shehu Sani

Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has praised the counter-terrorism partnership between Nigeria and the United States, expressing hope that it will produce real results in tackling insecurity.

In a post shared on his verified X handle on Saturday, Sani said Nigerians are eager to see positive outcomes from the collaboration.

His comments follow recent remarks by the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, who disclosed that Nigeria is actively working with the US to curb the growing wave of insecurity across the country

“The partnership should strategically and mercilessly locate, combat and eradicate terrorists wherever they are in all parts of the country, he said

“There are 3 categories of people who will not be happy with this; terrorists, those who are sympathetic to terrorists and those who have other ulterior or hidden motives other than ending terrorism in the country.”
