AFCON: APC wont add super eagles game to their list of achievements – Speed Darlington rejoices

Nigerian singer Speed Darlington has sparked reactions online after appearing pleased that the Super Eagles failed to win the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) this year.

Nigeria’s campaign ended in the semi-finals on Wednesday after a goalless draw with host nation Morocco was decided by penalties. The Super Eagles lost 4–2 in the shootout and will now play in the third-place match.

Nigeria had hoped to win a fourth AFCON title, but the dream ended after missed penalties from Samuel Chukwueze and Bruno Onyeamachi.

“Thank God APC can’t add AFCON to their list of achievements to hide their years of failure. AFCON bye bye.”
