ADC Welcomes Dele Momodu as He Joins Opposition Coalition Ahead of 2027

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially welcomed Ovation Magazine publisher, Dele Momodu, into the party.

In a statement shared on its verified X handle on Friday, the ADC described Momodu’s decision as the right move, expressing delight at his entry into the party.

Momodu formally joined the opposition coalition on Thursday in Benin City, Edo State, ahead of the 2027 general elections. Addressing his supporters after the announcement, he clarified that his move was driven by the interest of the people and not by any ambition to contest for office in the state.

Reacting to his defection, the ADC praised Momodu, noting his background as a former presidential candidate and media entrepreneur, and welcomed him into the party’s fold.
