Trump and Tinubu Made the Right Call on ISIS Strikes — Murray-Bruce
Former Bayelsa Senator, Ben Murray-Bruce, has said the fight against terrorism should be a shared global responsibility, not Nigeria’s burden alone.
Reacting to recent joint airstrikes by Nigeria and the United States against ISIS targets, Murray-Bruce praised the collaboration, describing ISIS as a serious threat to global peace and security.
In a post on his verified X account on Friday, he stressed that with Nigeria’s limited resources, tackling such a transnational menace requires collective international action, noting that coordinated global efforts are both more effective and more responsible.
“I therefore believe the decision by the United States to act, with Nigeria collaborating and providing critical intelligence, was the right one.
I commend President Donald Trump and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for their leadership, and I fully support the strikes. They were necessary, justified, and ultimately the right course of action,” he said
