Veteran Nollywood actor Baba Gebu is dead
Veteran Nollywood actor Oyewole Olowomojuore, popularly known as Baba Gebu, has passed away after a brief illness.
The sad news was shared by actor and director Kunle Afod, who described him as a “great legend.” He wrote on Instagram, “It saddens my heart as I announce the passing of our great actor, BABA GEBU. May your soul rest in peace.”
Tributes have since poured in from colleagues, including Yemi Solade, Akin Olaiya, Saje, Abiodun Thomas, and Shola Kosoko, all expressing grief and praying for the veteran’s peaceful rest.
