Arrest Terror Sponsors, Heed Trump’s Warning – SAN, Kunle Edun tells FG
Senior Advocate of Nigeria Kunle Edun has urged the federal government to stop sheltering criminals and to begin arresting and prosecuting known sponsors of terrorism. Speaking in Warri, Edun warned that Nigeria must take the U.S. president’s caution seriously and intensify the fight against terrorism and banditry.
“No serious government should act ok when its people are being killed like chickens,” he said, adding that recent changes at the military high command should signal the government’s renewed commitment.
Edun called for stronger US–Nigeria cooperation but pressed home the immediate demand: “Can we start by arresting the known sponsors of terrorism and prosecute them? Can we say never again that communities in Plateau State, Benue State and communities in the middle belt… will not be massacred?”
He also urged action to stop the “senseless killings” in North-West communities taken over by bandit
