MC Oluomo Claims He Spent ₦756 Million of Personal Funds on Tinubu’s 2023 Campaign

The National President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, has claimed he spent over ₦756 million of his personal funds campaigning for President Bola Tinubu during the 2023 elections.

In a viral video, MC Oluomo stated that he received no financial support from Abuja, stressing that he personally covered accommodation, logistics, and daily allowances for Nollywood actors and campaign workers.

According to him, he booked 140 hotel rooms at ₦45,000 per night for four months, among other expenses. “I spent ₦756 million of my own money during the campaign. Nobody from Abuja gave me a dime,” he said.

Reaffirming his loyalty to President Tinubu, Oluomo declared that preparations for the 2027 elections are already underway, adding, “We’re not resting, we’re ready to work even harder to ensure Asiwaju wins again.”
