Nigerian Woman Recounts Sleeping in Same Room With Husband and His Girlfriend
A Nigerian woman, Onyeji Chinweudo Joy, has narrated how she once shared a room with her husband and his girlfriend while they mocked her in her presence.
Joy, who has since ended the marriage, revealed her experience on Tuesday in reaction to another woman’s story shared by Ijeoma Ekechukwu on social media.
According to her, she cooked and served meals that both her husband and his lover ate together. When she reported the situation to her husband’s family, his father allegedly dismissed her concerns, saying she was “overly protective.”
“I called the marriage off, and they said I overreacted. It’s been four years now, and I’m glad I left,” she wrote.
