Many BBNaija winners end up becoming poorer, do they really give them the money – Deji Adeyanju
Activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju has questioned whether Big Brother Naija winners actually receive their prize money.
Adeyanju claimed that many past winners ended up poorer after the show, sparking reactions barely 24 hours after Imisi was crowned winner of the 10th edition with a ₦150 million prize.
Fans challenged him to name those allegedly unpaid, but he gave no response. Notably, Phyna, the 2022 winner, has repeatedly accused the organisers of withholding parts of her prizes.
”Do they really give BBNaija winners the prize money? The reason I am asking is because many of them end up looking extremely broke thereafter,” he wrote via his X
