I’m building a lesbian centred world in a country known for femicide, r3ping women and children – Nigerian singer Temmie Ovwasa reveals why she is harsh to men

Nigerian alternative R&B singer Temmie Ovwasa, popularly known as YBNL Princess, has opened up about her stance toward men.

During a Q&A session with fans on Saturday, the openly lesbian artist said she is intentionally harsh toward men and offers them no grace, regardless of their behavior.

She explained that her focus is on building a lesbian-centered world in a country plagued by femicide and gender-based violence, adding that her views stem from the realities women face in Nigeria.

“In this same country where all it takes to justify r3ping a woman is to tell people she’s a lesbian? Lmao, you must be joking. Take all the good male, marry all of them, more for you dear. As I said, I ‘m building a lesbian centred world, no exceptions,” she wrote.

“It doesn’t matter if they are good or bad, in my world they don’t matter. Advocate for women and children like this then let’s talk. Don’t waste my time on these asinine boundary testing conversations. idgaf.”
