Never confess to cheating to your spouse – Teju Babyface
Nigerian comedian and media personality Teju Oyelakin, popularly known as Teju Babyface, has cautioned his audience against admitting to infidelity with their partners.
In an Instagram video, Teju Babyface labelled cheating confessions as the most disastrous mistake in marriage. He argued that such an admission is unprofitable to the spouse, primarily serving to relieve the confessor’s guilt rather than benefiting the person who was cheated on.
“Never confess to Cheating: The Shocking Truth! Everyone tells you to ‘come clean’ if you cheat. Even the Bible is misquoted to back that up. But let me be clear: confession is to God, not to your spouse.“When you confess to them, it is not honesty, it is manipulation. You are just transferring your guilt and sabotaging your relationship. There is no benefit to them (your spouse). All the benefit is yours.
