We were shot at 10 times in Bauchi, It made me closer to God- Alhaji Popping Recalls Surviving Terrorist Attack
Nigerian singer and music executive, Tobi Mohammed, widely known as Alhaji Popping, shared the harrowing experience of surviving a terrorist attack in Bauchi State in 2017 alongside his colleague, Rayce.
The music star recounted that their car was shot at ten times by the terrorists, but they managed a narrow escape.He stated that despite the vehicle being heavily damaged by the bullets, they were miraculously uninjured.
He revealed that the experience has made him get closer to God, attributing his survival to God’s grace.
Speaking in a recent episode of the Adesope Live show, Alhaji Popping said, “Me and Rayce were shot at 10 times in Bauchi in a car in 2017 by guys wearing military uniforms. If my mom watches this, she’s going to call me and pray for me because I didn’t tell her about the incident.
“We were shot at. Bullets entered the steering, wheel, AC, the boot, but not one touched me. The experience is one of the things that have made me very close to God. Because I realised that everything that has happened to me was an expression of grace.
