A new Nigeria beckons – lauretta onochie states as Good luck Jonathan meets ADC members
The recent meeting between former President Goodluck Jonathan and the leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has drawn a reaction from Lauretta Onochie, a former media aide to the late ex-President Muhammadu Buhari. While acknowledging that the individuals involved are not saints.
Onochie expressed her approval, suggesting it would be a positive step for Jonathan to join the ADC coalition.
This meeting took place at the Abuja residence of the party’s Interim National Chairman, David Mark, yesterday.
Reacting, Onnochie posted on Facebook: “This looks good. This is why we are in the coalition. Not as saints.“Those who have led before, made mistakes and have learned from their errors would definitely be great for the future of our nation.
“Pres. Goodluck Jonathan has done well since 2015 working with Pres. Buhari as our envoy to West Africa.
“It would be good to have him join @Sen David Mark, Atiku Abubakar, Rauf Aregbesola, Rt. Hon. Chibuike R. Amaechi, Mr. Peter Obi, Nasir El-Rufai, Abubakar Malami, SAN, Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba HCN, etc., to rebuild our nation. A new Nigeria beckons.”
