President Tinubu grants automatic employment to late FCT Head of Service, Grace Adayilo’s four children
President Bola Tinubu has approved automatic employment for the four children of Dr. Grace Adayilo, the late Head of the Civil Service of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
FCT Minister Nyesom Wike announced the gesture on Saturday during Adayilo’s funeral service at the National Ecumenical Centre, Abuja. Describing her death as a “painful loss,” Wike praised Adayilo as a humble and hardworking public servant whose contributions to the FCT Administration will be remembered.
“The President has instructed that her four children be offered automatic employment, understanding that the family has lost its breadwinner,” Wike stated.
Adayilo was celebrated as a dedicated leader who ensured prompt payment of workers’ salaries and supported her community as a respected mobilizer. Attendees, including top officials, relatives, and colleagues, remembered her as a selfless figure whose life of service remains an example for others to follow.
