APC chieftain Joe Igbokwe has criticized IPOB’s counsel for “subtly promoting” a Nepal-style revolution in Nigeria.
The lawyer had compared corruption in Nepal, which recently sparked a deadly uprising, to Nigeria’s situation, lamenting that, unlike Nepalese youths, young Nigerians feel powerless.
Igbokwe, in a Facebook post, condemned the remarks and linked the lawyer’s comments to the unrest in the South East.
He wrote, “The IPOB, UGM, ESN etc, Lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor is not done yet. Their bloody groups have left unimaginable wreckage, massive destruction and thousands of deaths in the South East.
“Having failed woefully in 10 years bloodshed and massive destruction of homes including mine, this yeye lawyer is now stylishly and dangerously preaching Nepal experience in Nigeria.
“I have just read his write up a few minutes ago. Let us be guided. Let us thread carefully, let us have common sense even though common sense is not common”
