Why I can’t commit to one woman – Young Jonn
Nigerian singer Young Jonn has opened up about his relationship status, saying he isn’t ready to commit to one woman at the moment. Speaking on the Way Up podcast with Angela Yee, the Dada crooner explained that he currently prefers platonic connections, as he is not in a phase where he can fully invest in a serious relationship.
His comments come after reports that his relationship with Davido’s cousin, Adenike Adeleke (aka Nikos Living), ended in August 2025, following months of speculation fueled by their social media posts earlier in the year.
“Everybody loves love. I mean, love is wonderful. But, I’m not really in that space where I can give so much of me to one person. So, I’m just keeping it platonic with everybody,” he expressed.
“I don’t want a serious relationship right now. Because I feel like I won’t be able to give that person as much as I’m supposed to. So why put them in that situation?”
