PVC only legitimate weapon in politics, not violence — Kebbi Gov, Idris
Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has stressed that Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs), not violence, are the true weapon in politics.
Speaking at the commissioning of the APC secretariat in Augie LGA, he urged citizens to take part in the ongoing voter registration. He clarified that his earlier reference to “war” meant a political contest to be fought with PVCs.
Idris condemned recent cases of political violence in the state, warning that his administration would not tolerate thuggery. He reaffirmed Kebbi’s reputation for peace and vowed to maintain it.
