”Presence speaks louder than words” – Nigerian woman addresses people saying her son will look for his absent father when he grows up
Nigerian woman, Ugochukwu Precious Uzoma, has dismissed claims that children will eventually seek out absent fathers, saying today’s generation knows better.
In a Facebook post on Monday, August 25, Uzoma addressed those suggesting her son would look for his father if she doesn’t reconcile with him. She stressed that her son will not, as her presence, love, and daily sacrifices are all that matter.
“Children don’t search for those who abandoned them; they grow with the love of the ones who stayed,” she wrote, adding that her son knows who wipes his tears, comforts him, and sacrifices for his happiness.
Uzoma concluded that unlike in the past, modern children value presence over empty titles or promises.
