Ibom Air passenger charged to court over ‘unruly’ act, remanded in prison
Comfort Emmanson, a passenger who assaulted airline staff on an Ibom Air flight from Uyo to Lagos, has been charged to court and remanded in Kirikiri Correctional Facility.
The Special Adviser on Media and Communications to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Tunde Moshood, disclosed this in a post on X on Monday. He made the announcement shortly after the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) warned that enforcement actions would become more frequent as unruly passenger behaviour increases.
This comes just days after a similar incident involving Fuji musician King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM 1), who allegedly tried to prevent a ValueJet aircraft from taking off after being deboarded.
