Nigerian comedian Acapella has criticised the government, stating that any administration constantly explaining its performance is failing.

In a post on X, he wrote, “Any government that needs to explain to the citizens that they are working, na mirage.” He argued that real progress should be evident to the people without excessive justification, adding, “If you are working, the people will feel it. You no need explain am.”

Acapella concluded by stressing that citizens can recognize effective leadership without being told: “The people no be man-made god; they have eyes and can see.”
