“I wonder whether a doctor prescribed ‘Presidency’ for him and if he doesn’t become President something will happen to him” – Wike’s aide, Olayinka to Atiku
Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, has criticized former Vice President Atiku Abubakar for what he described as an unhealthy obsession with becoming Nigeria’s President.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily on Thursday, Olayinka was reacting to Atiku’s recent resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Atiku had announced his exit from the PDP on Wednesday, citing concerns over the direction the party is heading.
“The only thing that interests Atiku Abubakar is to become Nigeria’s President. I’m beginning to wonder whether a doctor prescribed ‘Presidency’ for him, and if he doesn’t become President, something will happen to him,” Olayinka said.
