Former Vice President, Namadi Sambo dumps PDP for APC

Former Vice President Namadi Sambo, who served under President Goodluck Jonathan, has officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Sambo, Nigeria’s Vice President from May 2010 to May 2015 and Governor of Kaduna State between 2007 and 2010, is the latest prominent political figure to switch allegiance ahead of the 2027 general elections.
