NNPCL Reduces Petrol Price to N895 per Litre

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has cut the pump price of petrol from N910 to N895 per litre, a N15 reduction. A survey of NNPCL stations across Abuja confirmed the new price.

Motorists welcomed the move, with one, Muhammad Ibrahim, noting it aligns with price reductions at other filling stations. The drop comes shortly after Dangote Refinery and partners also slashed prices to N875–N895 in Lagos and Abuja.

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) stated that the liberalisation of the downstream sector has intensified competition, prompting price adjustments across the board.
