Peller to sue Pastor Kesiena for blaming mass failure in UTME on his content

Popular Nigerian TikToker, Peller, has issued a threat to sue Kesiena Esiri, the lead pastor of Remnant Christian Network, for labeling him a “bad influence.”

DAILY POST reported that the cleric, in a viral social media video, accused Peller and his girlfriend, Jarvis, of promoting immorality. Kesiena Esiri made these claims while reacting to the mass failure in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), stating that Peller is distracting teenagers with his alleged negative online content.

The pastor said: “Is what we are pioneering in public now like a normal lifestyle. Did you know the person mentoring the young people now? It’s one guy that calls himself Peller. Young people now. He is on his page, they sit down from morning till night. He is going about with a girl that he’s not married to, engaging in all kinds of nonsense things. And to society teens, it’s normal behavior. Can they pass JAMB? They can’t pass JAMB.”

Reacting to Pastor Esiri’s assumptions, Peller denied responsibility for academic mass failures. While arguing that he never forced anyone to watch his content, Peller vowed to sue Kesiena for “preaching about him to extort his church members.”

During a TikTok live session, the 20-year-old influencer stated: “One pastor go to church and be preaching about Peller and Jarvis in church. He said it’s Peller and Jarvis that makes his children fail JAMB. Nobody forced anyone to watch Jarvis and Peller. You see that pastor, we will sue you. Mr. Prophet we will sue you for using our names to collect offerings in your church. Because all the Gen Zs will love the pastor’s that very day and they will give more offerings than they would be delighted that the pastor is Peller’s follower too.”
