I resigned from my Job at World Bank– NSPPD convener, Pastor Jerry Eze speaks on why he doubted his calling

Jerry Eze, convener of the widely followed online prayer platform New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD), has shared the reason he once questioned his divine calling.

In a trending interview on the WithChude Live podcast, Eze revealed that he struggled with doubt after resigning from his role as a communications specialist for the World Bank HIV/AIDS project and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), which left him jobless.

He said he’s sharing this experience publicly to encourage others who may be facing similar challenges, describing that difficult season as God’s way of preparing him for the impactful ministry he now leads.

The interviewer asked: “Where there times when you doubted that it was really God you heard?”

Jerry Eze replied: “Oh yes, I remember a month after I resigned, I thought I had made the biggest mistake of my life. You read the Bible, pray, and nobody to preach to. I felt like, can God really make me jobless? Because I love doing something.

“But I knew that was the time of being set apart for preparation of what the world is witnessing right now (NSPPD). If you have been tempted, someone wants to know how you have been tempted and if you ever tried to give up.”
