The Nigerian music industry is so dark – Qing Madi
Afrobeats singer Chimamanda Pearl Chukwuma, popularly known as Qing Madi, has described the Nigerian music industry as “so dark,” echoing concerns raised by other artists about its troubling dynamics.
On her Instagram story, Madi wrote, “The industry is so dark.”
The 18-year-old’s remarks align with recent claims by Reekado Banks, who alleged that a “demonic” music executive is sabotaging rising talents. Qing Madi also revealed that she once lost many followers for openly preaching about Jesus on social media, but expressed no regrets.
Her views reflect earlier statements by singer Kizz Daniel, who described the industry as a cartel controlled by a cabal.
