President Tinubu to depart Nigeria for France today on a working visit

In a statement issued on Wednesday, April 2, Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, announced that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart for Paris, France, today for a short working visit. The purpose of this visit is to assess the progress of his administration, evaluate key milestones, and appraise its mid-term performance.

During the visit, President Tinubu will engage in a retreat to review the ongoing reforms and reflect on their impact. The retreat will also focus on strategic planning ahead of his administration’s second anniversary, ensuring that the government remains aligned with national development priorities.

Despite his travels, President Tinubu will remain fully engaged with his team and continue to oversee governance activities. He is expected to return to Nigeria in approximately two weeks. This visit reflects the administration’s dedication to maintaining momentum on its reform agenda and addressing key national priorities.
