Oby Ezekwesili shares her account of what led to her altercation with Senator Nwebonyi (video)
Former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili, has shared her side of the heated exchange with Senate Deputy Spokesperson, Onyekachi Nwaebonyi, at the Senate chambers on Tuesday, March 25.
Both were present at the public hearing on the sexual harassment allegations made by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
In an interview with Arise TV, Ezekwesili recounted that the Senators dismissed her and others supporting Senator Natasha, implying they were not serious.
She stated that as Nwaebonyi was about to speak, she told him to “shut up,” which led to the Senator responding aggressively and insulting her.
