IBB’s book: If we are not careful, the Nigerian elite will normalise deceit or fraud – Businessman Atedo Peterside says
Businessman Atedo Peterside has warned that if caution is not exercised, the Nigerian elite may end up normalizing deceit and fraud.
He made this statement during an interview on Channels TV on February 23 while discussing the recent launch of Gen. Ibrahim Babangida’s memoir.
According to him, the elite have successes in normalizing all sorts of things and we need to draw the line.
He said; ’If we are not careful, the Nigerian elite will normalize deceit or fraud and things like that. They have normalized all sorts of things and that is why some people have to point out that enough is enough, let’s draw a line somewhere. There are some things you cannot joke with. You can joke with all kinds of things. We have to draw a line somewhere.”
