Natasha: ‘Akpabio worst Senate president ever, no respect for female colleagues’ – Deji Adeyanju
Activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju has labeled Senator Godswill Akpabio as the “worst Senate President” Nigeria has ever had. In a Facebook post on Friday night, he reacted to the chaos that erupted in the Senate chamber on Thursday.
The uproar occurred when Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan refused to sit in a newly assigned seat, arguing that her privileges were being violated.
A viral video showed her challenging Akpabio, stating, “I am not afraid of you.” Adeyanju criticized Akpabio for allegedly disrespecting female senators, citing a previous incident involving Senator Ireti Kingibe.
He wrote, “Akpabio, the worst Senate president in Nigeria’s history. Acts so bitter like a man that his ego has been bruised by a woman.
“First, it was Senator Ireti Kingibe, now it’s Senator Natasha. He has no respect or regard for the only two women in the red chamber”.
