Following the divorce saga between singer 2Face Idibia and his wife, Annie, debates continues to unfold, relationship expert Blessing CEO Okoro has stated that she feels no sympathy for Annie’s situation.
She argued that over the years, Annie has remained in the shadow of being 2Face’s wife, failing to build her own identity. As a result, she claimed, people do not see Annie for who she truly is but instead associate her solely with her marriage to the Nigerian music legend.
She said “I don’t think anyone put Annie in the situation. Annie is a strong person. It is the trophy. 2face is the trophy.If 2face divorce Annie now, another woman will still pick him up. He is 2Face Idibia. Let me put it here. People are going to drag me for this. There is no Annie without 2Face. It is 2Face that is the trophy. Annie actually picked up a career in acting , it flopped. It is still African queen that drives her. Without 2Face, Annie has flopped. That is what I call a trophy.”
“I have always told women, Build a career like me as Blessing CEO. I have built a name for myself. If I have to marry any man, even if it is Dangote or an Otedola, there is a Blessing CEO but a lot of women hold on to these men who are trophies.”
