Kaduna: I support probe of my father’s tenure – El-Rufai’s son, Mohammed
Mohammed, the eldest son of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has stated that he has no objections to the Kaduna State government investigating his father’s tenure.
However, he emphasized that the process should be conducted with transparency and without bias.
Speaking in an interview with the BBC Hausa Service on Saturday, the lawmaker representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives stressed the importance of accountability but cautioned that any probe should not be driven by personal vendettas.
He further asserted that investigations should not be used as a tool for political persecution.
“If done for selfish reasons, such inquiries only harm progress,” he said.
