My uncle Okocha Will Always Be My Idol – Alex Iwobi
Super Eagles and Fulham midfielder, Alex Iwobi, has named former Nigerian international Austine Okocha as his greatest inspiration.
Iwobi has delivered outstanding performances for Fulham this season across various competitions, showcasing his ability to handle pressure and express his skills and qualities he attributes to lessons learned from Okocha, who is also his uncle.
Speaking on the Is This Seat Taken? podcast, Iwobi acknowledged Okocha’s significant influence on his football career.

He his the one that really taught me how to express myself.And off the pitch he is always advising me on how to be professional, manage my money, how to move, stay humble and grounded.
