APC: Tinubu, El-Rufai used to be great friends – Joe Igbokwe laments fallout

APC chieftain Joe Igbokwe has expressed disappointment over the rift between President Bola Tinubu’s administration and former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai.

Igbokwe noted that Tinubu and El-Rufai were once close allies and questioned what led to their fallout in a post on his Facebook page.

Recently, El-Rufai has been vocal in criticizing the APC, stating at an event in Abuja that the party no longer upholds internal democracy. He also accused the ruling party of straying from its founding principles and promoting poor leadership.

Reacting to this, Igbokwe said : “I am still asking what went wrong between these two committed, great friends and associates. It should not have been allowed to happen in the first place.

“What God has joined together let no man put asunder. Good morning to the good people of Nigeria only.”
