I won’t die until I father 32 children — Delta musician says as he marries three women same day
Renowned Isoko highlife musician, Dr. Arube Otor, popularly known as Isoko Fela, has declared his goal of fathering 32 children before passing away. At 53, Otor, who already has nine children, married three wives on Sunday, January 19, 2025, in Uzere, Delta State, bringing his total to four wives. The ceremony was held at the Anglican Church Field London Base in Uzere Kingdom.
“I want to have 32 children, and until I achieve that, I won’t leave this earth,” he stated.
Otor, born into a harmonious polygamous family, credits this upbringing for his embrace of the lifestyle. He described the strong bonds among his father’s four wives, which inspired his approach to managing his household.
To save costs, Otor held a single reception for his three new wives, explaining, “I’ve already paid their bride prices, and we’ve been living together. The event is just a celebration. Members of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria will provide music, and refreshments are arranged. It will be a grand day.”
“My wives are independent; one is a hairdresser, another a caterer, and one a trader,” he noted.
Despite his age, Otor remains confident in fulfilling his marital duties, attributing his vigor to a natural diet that excludes rice and aphrodisiacs. “Rice weakens a man. My diet keeps me fit. I visit my wives weekly, and none feels neglected,” he explained.
