I would only accept Liam as grandson if the DNA test says otherwise – Mohbad’s father, Aloba

Joseph Aloba, the father of late singer Mohbad, has expressed renewed doubts about the paternity of his grandson, Liam. Mohbad, who passed away on September 12, 2023, was buried the following day, and his body was later exhumed on September 21 for an autopsy by the Lagos State Police.

Amid ongoing controversies surrounding Mohbad’s death, Aloba has called for a thorough investigation into the singer’s wife, Omowunmi, and a DNA test to confirm Liam’s paternity. In a recent interview with Silverbird Television, Aloba reiterated his belief that Liam does not resemble his late son, further fueling his insistence on the test.

Interviewer; Liam looked like Mohbad?

Aloba responded; “No, with what I am seeing, he’s not my grandson. As a father, they are supposed to bring the child to me.

“When I demand DNA, they were supposed to say ‘Daddy go and do it at your convenient time. It has become public now. Let the court speak to that.

“I would only accept Liam as grandson if the DNA test says otherwise.”
