Make sure you are stubborn or else you will suffer like back of slippers – Man advises Nigerian women
Nigerian software engineer Joseph Brendan has encouraged Nigerian women to embrace resilience, warning that failing to do so could lead to challenges. “If you are a Nigerian woman, ensure you are resilient. I have yet to see a Nigerian woman who has reached the top in any field without demonstrating persistence,” he wrote in a post on Monday.
“Stop shining teeth always, learn stubbornness I have seen it first hnad with my sisters. The society always gave them what’s theirs because them no dey laugh with you. Consciously and unconsciously most Nigerian men do not see you as being capable over them. It’s your duty to use stubbornness and remind them that you are more capable when you are. Shine teeth when necessary, bone face when necessary. Or else you go suffer like back of slippers.
